In 2019, Magnolia Moms, a popular southern-style mom’s blog, was planning its first big event. Planning had been underway for the April 2020 Mom’s Night Out Event. As it got closer to April the decision was made to cancel the event and pivot.

The planning team decided to create two virtual events, but they wanted to give the participants more than just a 50-minute “event” on Zoom. They wanted to provide resources and create an online experience.

So the Magnolia Moms Event site was created. The site was beautifully designed to work as an on-brand sister site to the group’s existing blog, www.Magnolia-Moms.com. It works as a resource site to provide information on events of course but also articles and speaker information.

The site functions as a working hub to post updates on events, speaker notes, resource guides, and sell tickets.

This site has helped moms during the days of virtual learning, from activities to keep those littles busy to resource articles from top professionals in the area.

Although keeping sōSHəl was a bit more difficult a few years ago, this site is ever-changing to keep up with today’s busy mom.

Working with Magnolia Moms to increase their reach by using a specific site for activities only has been a win for them. They have increased followers and provided more resources and sōSHəl opportunities to their loyal fan base.

Our new event site has helped to provide our followers and moms in the community a place to go a see all our upcoming events. It is more than just a place to see what’s happening, it a total resource. We use the site for many different things; articles from industry experts, interactive games, and of course our blog posts. It is easy to navigate and it’s easy to update. Our writers have their own log in and can post their blogs to the site themselves. It has really been a game changer for us.
